Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the Looma Monthly “Win Your Quote” Prize Draw (the “Prize Draw”). By obtaining an eligible insurance quote through the Looma app, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Promoter

The promoter of this Prize Draw is:

(“Looma”, “we”, “our” or “us”).

2. The Promotion

2.1 Each calendar month, every eligible user who completes an eligible insurance quote journey through the Looma mobile application will automatically receive one entry into that month’s free prize draw.

2.2 One winner will be selected at random each calendar month.

2.3 The winner will receive a cash prize equal to the value of the lowest eligible annual insurance premium returned during their completed Looma quote journey, subject to a maximum prize of £1,000.

2.4 No purchase is necessary to enter or win.

2.5 Purchasing an insurance policy does not increase the chances of winning.

3. Eligibility

3.1 The Prize Draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 17 years or over.

3.2 Entrants must hold a valid Looma account at the time of entry and at the time the prize is awarded.

3.3 Employees, officers and directors of Looma, their immediate family members, household members and anyone professionally connected with the administration of the Prize Draw are not eligible to enter.

3.4 Looma reserves the right to require reasonable proof of eligibility before awarding any prize.

4. How to Enter

4.1 Entry is automatic when an entrant completes an eligible insurance quote journey within the Looma app during the relevant calendar month.

4.2 Entry is completely free.

4.3 Only one entry per person per calendar month is permitted, regardless of the number of quote journeys completed.

4.4 Entries cannot be transferred to another person.

4.5 No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received due to technical failure, internet issues, software faults or any other reason outside Looma’s reasonable control.

5. Eligible Quotes

5.1 An “Eligible Quote” means a genuine insurance quotation obtained through the Looma app using accurate, truthful and complete information for the entrant’s own insurance requirements.

5.2 Looma may exclude any quote that it reasonably believes:

  • contains inaccurate, misleading or false information;
  • has been generated using automated systems or bots;
  • has been created for testing purposes;
  • has been manipulated in any way;
  • is duplicated;
  • has not been fully completed; or
  • otherwise breaches these Terms or the Looma Terms of Use.

5.3 For the purposes of calculating the prize, the value of the prize will always be based on the lowest eligible annual premium returned during the winning quote journey.

5.4 The maximum prize available in any calendar month is £1,000, regardless of the value of the quote returned.

6. Selecting the Winner

6.1 One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the relevant calendar month.

6.2 The winner will be selected using a computer-generated random selection process.

6.3 The draw will normally take place within ten working days following the end of each calendar month.

6.4 Looma’s decision regarding the administration of the Prize Draw is final.

7. Winner Notification

7.1 The winner will normally be contacted using the email address associated with their Looma account.

7.2 The winner must respond within 14 days of the first notification.

7.3 If a winner:

  • cannot be contacted;
  • does not respond within 14 days;
  • declines the prize;
  • fails verification; or
  • is found to be ineligible,

Looma reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select an alternative winner.

8. Prize Payment

8.1 The prize will be paid as a cash payment by UK bank transfer.

8.2 The prize is non-transferable and no alternative prize will be offered.

8.3 Prize payments will normally be made within 30 days following successful verification.

8.4 Looma reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this necessary.

9. Verification

9.1 Before awarding any prize, Looma may require reasonable evidence to verify:

  • identity;
  • age;
  • UK residency;
  • ownership or insurable interest in the quoted vehicle;
  • that the information supplied during the quote journey was accurate; and
  • any other information reasonably required to confirm eligibility.

9.2 Failure to provide requested verification within a reasonable period may result in disqualification.

10. Fraud and Abuse

10.1 Looma is committed to ensuring that the Prize Draw is fair for all participants.

10.2 Looma reserves the right to disqualify any entrant where it reasonably believes that the entrant has:

  • created multiple accounts;
  • attempted to obtain multiple entries;
  • submitted false or misleading information;
  • manipulated quote results;
  • used bots, scripts or automated software;
  • interfered with the operation of the Prize Draw;
  • attempted to gain an unfair advantage;
  • breached these Terms;
  • breached the Looma Terms of Use; or
  • otherwise acted dishonestly or fraudulently.

10.3 Looma reserves the right to withhold or recover any prize awarded where fraud, dishonesty or material inaccuracies are discovered after the prize has been paid.

11. Publicity

11.1 To comply with applicable UK advertising and consumer protection requirements, Looma may publish the winner’s first name and county of residence.

11.2 Entrants may object to this publication by contacting Looma. Looma will consider such requests where legally permitted but may still be required to provide winner information to regulatory authorities on request.

12. Personal Data

12.1 Personal information supplied in connection with this Prize Draw will be processed in accordance with Looma’s Privacy Policy.

12.2 Personal data will only be used for administering the Prize Draw, verifying eligibility, awarding the prize and complying with applicable legal obligations.

13. Limitation of Liability

13.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any liability which cannot legally be excluded.

13.2 Subject to clause 13.1, Looma shall not be liable for:

  • technical failures;
  • interrupted communications;
  • lost entries;
  • delayed notifications;
  • any indirect or consequential loss arising from participation in the Prize Draw; or
  • events beyond its reasonable control.

14. Changes to the Prize Draw

14.1 Looma reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw the Prize Draw where reasonably necessary due to circumstances outside its control, fraud, abuse, technical issues, legal or regulatory requirements, or any other event which makes continuation of the Prize Draw impractical.

14.2 Any material changes will be published on the Looma website.

15. General

15.1 If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

15.2 Failure by Looma to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

15.3 These Terms constitute the entire agreement relating to the Prize Draw.

16. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
